Poori,Chana,Halwa Recipe ||  Navratri Prashad Recipe



METHOD

CHANA OR  CHOLE




1 Cup Black Gram
 (Soaked Overnight)
Add Black Gram 
in pressure cooker for boil
Add 1/2 tsp Salt
Add 1 pinch baking  soda
Add 2 Cups of Water
Cover the lid 
Cook till 4 Whistles Come (High Flame)
Cook for 5-7 mins on Medium Flame
Switch off the Flame. Check Chole
Prepare Masala For Chole
1 tsp turmeric powder
1 tsp red chilli powder
1 tsp Coriander powder
1 tsp Roasted Cumin Powder
1 tsp garam masala
1 tsp Mango Powder (Amchoor)
Add little water & make a thin paste
Paste is ready
Take a pan.Add 1 tbsp Oil 
Add 1/2 tsp Hing & 1 1/2 tsp Cumin Seeds .Splutter
Add Masala Paste. Roast on a Medium Gas for a minute
Add Boiled Chole (With Water)
Cover the lid
Cook for 10 mns 
on high flame
Check Chole after 10 mns
Cook for 5 minutes more (Medium Heat)
Add Salt (As per Taste)
Add Chaat Masala
Add some black pepper powder
Mix & 
Cook for 2 minutes
Chole is ready to serve


Sooji Ka Halwa




Add 1 tbsp Ghee in a pan
1 Bowl Semolina (Sooji)
Stir it Continuously. Roast until colour changes
For Chashni, Add 1 bowl sugar in a pan
Add 1.5 Cups of Water
Add 1/4th Cup of milk
Mix Well. Cook till Chashni Boils
Add 1 tsp Cardamom Powder
Chashni is ready
Sooji Colour is Also Changed
Sprinkle some water & stir
Add Dry Fruits (Chopped )
Fry Dry Fruits with Semolina
Roast for another 5 mins
Add Prepared Chashni in Sooji
Stir it continuously. Cook on high flame
Sooji is swollen up ,put the gas on medium
Ghee seperates from halwa
Switch off the flame & Serve it
Garnish with Shredded Coconut & Almonds
Navratri Special Sooji Halwa is ready .

Puffed & Crispy Poori




Take 1.5 Cups Wheat Flour
Add 1 tbsp Semolina/Sooji
Add 1 tbsp Hot Oil (Moyan)
1 tsp Salt
1/2 Cup Milk & 1/3 Cup Water  ( For  Kneading  Dough  )
Dough Must be Tight
Add Few Drops of Oil & Knead
Cover the dough with wet cloth for 10 mins
After 10 mins, Knead it again 
Dough is ready
Make small balls of it .All the balls are ready
Now roll the pooris
Take some hot oil in a bowl
Apply Oil on both sides & roll in a circle
Roll all the pooris in the same way
Heat Oil in a pan . Check Oil
Now fry the rolled pooris
Gently  press . Flip & Fry on the other side.
Take it out on a tissue paper
Fry all the pooris in the same way
Soft, Crispy & Puffed Pooris are ready
