CHEESE BALLS

Do you have to make something yummy for your children’s tiffin box? Do you have to make some tasty snacks for the party? Then, here is the recipe for you! Yummy cheesy delights that will be the perfect snacks for everyone and every occasion.

 

Ingredients:

        Mashed Paneer – 1 cup

        Curd- ½ cup

        Semolina or Sooji – 2 tbsp  

        Chat masala – 1 tbsp

        Coriander powder- 1 tbsp

        Salt – to taste

        Bread crumbs – 1 cup

        Maida – 4 tbsp

        Cornflour – 4 tbsp

        Oregano – 1 tbsp

        Red chilli powder

        Cheese - 20- 25 (cut into cubes)

 

 

Method:

        Take a bowl, add 1 cup of mashed paneer, 2 tbsp of sooji or semolina, ½ cup of curd, 1tbsp of chat masala, 1 tbsp of coriander powder, salt to taste, a handful of bread crumbs, 2 tbsp of maida, 2 tbsp of cornflour, 1 tbsp of oregano, and mix it well. Once the mixture is ready keep it aside.

        Take a bowl, and add 2 tbsp of cornflour, 2tbsp of maida, some salt, red chilli powder, and oregano to it, then add water in batches to make the slurry mixture.

*Use a fork to avoid lumps

        Now, take a small portion from the paneer mixture, roll into a ball and flatten it, then place a cheese cube in the centre and roll into a ball. Make cheese balls out of the rest of the dough in a similar manner.

        Now, coat all the cheese balls in the slurry mixture and then coat them with bread crumbs.

        Heat the oil up to medium heat to fry the cheese balls.

        Fry all the cheese balls over medium flame till they are golden brown and crispy.

        Take out all the cheese balls on tissue paper to remove excess oil.

        And now these delicious mouth-watering delights are ready to be served!

Serve it with tomato sauce or Schezwan sauce to enhance the flavour of these delicious cheesy delights.
