HALWAI- STYLE SOOJI KA HALWA




For festivals, snacks, or just as a delicacy this Halwai-style Sooji ka halwa will be the perfect recipe for all these times. It's simple to make and extremely tasty. So, let's learn how to make this halwa.

Ingredients:

       Semolina – ½ cup

       Ghee (clarified butter) – ½ cup

       Sugar – ½ cup

       Cashew- chopped

       Almond – chopped

       Raisins – 8-10

       Chironji (Calumpang nuts) – 1 tbsp

       Cardamom powder – 1 tbsp

Method:

       Take a non-stick pan, add ½ a cup of ghee, ½ cup of semolina, and roast it till golden brown. Keep stirring the mixture and cook it on low to medium heat.

       Add chopped cashews, almonds, 8-10 raisins, 1 tbsp chironji, and fry them along with the semolina well until it's brown and ghee separates.

       Once the ghee separates, add ½ cup of sugar and 3 cups of water to the mixture and stir it continuously on high flame until it thickens.

       Then, add 1 tbsp Cardamom powder and cook until the ghee separates.

       Once it separates and the halwa has a perfect grainy consistency the Halwai-style Sooji ka halwa is ready.

Garnish it with some chopped dry fruits and enjoy this yummy delicacy with your near and dear ones.
