Frooti, everyone’s favourite drink to have throughout this season not only to beat the heat but also just to enjoy the deliciousness of mangoes. So let us make this tasty market-style Frooti today at home.



       Mango (Finely chopped) – 1

       Raw Mango (Finely chopped) – ½

       Sugar- 1 cup

       Food colour (Ajanta Kesari) – 2 pinches



       Take a pan, add 1 finely chopped mango, ½ finely chopped raw mango, 2 glasses of water, and stir it. Cover it for 5 minutes.

       Keep checking the mangoes, once they are slightly soft add 1 cup of sugar to it and stir it until the sugar dissolves in water.

       Then, cover the pan and let it cook for 5 minutes.

       Add 2 pinches of Ajanta Kesari food colour and mix it well. Cook it for another 5 minutes.

       Once they are fully cooked, strain the mangoes out and set aside the sugar solution.

       Transfer the mangoes to the blender jar. Add a little water to it and blend it until smooth.

       Strain the mango pulp into the sugar solution and whisk it until it's completely mixed and is smooth.

       Once it's mixed and has that smooth texture add 1 glass of cold water to it and refrigerate this Frooti for 3 hours.

       Then, the Frooti is ready to be served.
